A Clearer, More Accessible Path to Support

Age Well Arrowhead (Age Well) came to Linli at a time of growth within the organization. While their services had evolved to better support older adults aging in place, their website had not kept pace. The site was difficult to navigate, contained outdated information, funneled all inquiries into making a phone call without offering an online service inquiry option, did not meet accessibility standards nor function well on mobile devices.

As a nonprofit committed to supporting older adults in living independently, Age Well recognized their website created barriers rather than removing them. Older adults and their families/caregivers seeking support struggled to quickly understand if Age Well was the right fit for them or how to take the next step to enroll in services. Most importantly, the website didn’t reflect the real impact Age Well has made in the lives of older adults and their families/caregivers across the northern Minnesota and Wisconsin region.

To better support their mission, Age Well Arrowhead partnered with Linli to create an easier to navigate, more informative, and modern website.

A website that builds trust, clarity, and access to care

Age Well wanted to reimagine their website as a clear, welcoming, and simple entry point to services. Our goal was to simplify the inquiry process for people seeking support, while providing the Age Well team a platform that they could evolve with their services and community needs. We restructured the site’s navigation and content to prioritize clarity and ease of use, so visitors could quickly understand who Age Well serves, what services are available, and how to get started. Services were reorganized and rewritten using plain, person-centered language, so older adults and their families/caregivers could determine if Age Well was the right fit for their situation.

To support action, we introduced a simple service inquiry form that allows visitors to begin the process online rather than relying solely on making a phone call. This shift made it easier for families/caregivers and older adults to reach out on their own terms and at their own pace. Since many families/caregivers may reach out to Age Well on behalf of an older adult, we built the new site with intuitive layouts and full mobile responsiveness, so visitors can access information comfortably across all devices.

The redesigned Age Well Arrowhead website now serves as a welcoming and reliable first step for older adults and families/caregivers seeking support. With clearer navigation, accessible design, and up-to-date service information, visitors can quickly understand Age Well’s role, value, and offerings, which eases the stress that often accompanies the search for help. Since the launch of the new site in October 2025, Age Well has seen an increase in service inquiries by 33%. Behind the scenes, the flexible content management system helps the Age Well team to keep information current, share new resources, and adapt the site as services evolve. The result is not just a redesigned website, but a strategic tool that supports Age Well’s mission to provide support and services that allow older adults to live how they choose.
